Music Journey Take 2

     Hello loves! Testimony is streaming on all major streaming platforms and is now also available on YouTube for your listening pleasure.          Lately I have been on this journey of deciding what my sound is. I want people to hear more than just a voice. I want them to hear my heart and a truth that finds a path to their soul. I don’t want to have a sound that is for everyone. I honestly can admit that I don’t write my songs for everyone. It’s not that I don’t want everyone to enjoy my art. In a perfect world my work would be beautiful to everyone, but my art will always hold and ugly truth. That true love and genuine intentions have never loved or knew me. It’s a large pill to swallow and daily I am coping with what I have to call life. BLU

   BLU the mixtape is in the works you guys. This will be my second mixtape and will be recorded and funded by Turntine Entertainment. People often ask me what BLU stands for. Originally it stood for " Because Love is Undefined ", but as I continued to write for the project I realized that BLU really stands for " Because Love is You ".    There are so many times we accept people for who they are and their behaviors that we label that as love. Emotional abuse isn't just hurtful words, it can also be constant cheating and lying over and over again. However, we are so in love with the idea of being with one person that we mistake that poor behavior as love. We create these false ideas of what love is to excuse the behavior.
